plus size beauty queen |

Times are certainly changing. And when it comes to beauty pageants the very same statement can be said. Only this week have we seen that in the UK a plus size woman has entered and been accepted by judges into a beauty pageant. Chloe Marshall is a young, intelligent and confident woman. She is absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable in her own skin. The difference here though is that she has a plus size figure and has entered a beauty pageant alongside a cast of conventionally sized models. The bonus is that Chloe is just as confident as the other competitors in her hopes for a win. It is brilliant to see her come out in the swimwear and then the evening wear parts of the pageant. Equally comfortable in both categories Chloe looked stunning and proud. Being a plus size woman doesn't mean that you can't do things that other gorgeous women do like entering beauty contents. The larger sizes in clothing are becoming more fashionable and accessible and along with that is the acceptance by society to embrace these women and make room for them in all aspects of the community. Being a plus size these days is normal. It's not frowned upon and there are so many fuller figured women who are attractive and proud of their plus sized shape and of course, they too want to flaunt it; and with good reason too. Chloe has become a role model for all other fuller figured women who lack the confidence in themselves and think they can't be involved like any other women. Curvaceous women are so adored by men and women alike and the plus size fashion industry has done a wonderful job in designing fantastic fashions that make the larger women feel modern, trendy and accepted. The average woman (the real woman of today) has curves and is a size 16-18. Plus size women competing in beauty contests makes absolute sense. Here's to the plus size role model, Chloe Marshall and good luck! |
