Plus size is not that bad |

When you are a plus size woman and life brings you down, you're stuck in a rut, what do you do? Retail therapy is the answer. Feel good about yourself again, reinvigorate your senses and take a chance. The best way to do this is to throw out all those ill-fitting large size clothes, all the tops that you bought but never got around to wearing because they're smaller than you remember. Get rid of those thread-bare pieces that you cling to like a fond memory and dust off all the other clothes that have never seen the light of day. With all the clothes you're removing from your life, help someone else by donating them to charity. Now the therapy begins. Information is the key and probably the best thing to do is search online for the latest women's plus size fashions and trends. Find out what style of clothing suits your body type and start to get an idea of what would suit your body and your personality. Remember that clothes are an expression of who you are and just because you're a plus size, why should you compromise? Be proud of yourself and let everyone know how special you are. Find out if colours are your thing, or if certain cuts highlight your best features. Are you an accessory junkie? Do you like pants over skirts? The more questions you ask yourself the better you become at identifying what would or wouldn't suit you. If you don't feel comfortable going to a shopping centre to shop for the larger sizes or plus size clothing, you can always do it on-line. There are plenty of things to learn and the internet has a vast array of online stores that cater for specific needs. Use FAQ's or forums as helpful pointers but most importantly of all, enjoy the experience. Life is too short to be miserable, so express yourself, be comfortable in who you are and seize the day. |
