Being a plus size woman, I find that it is difficult to buy clothes in the larger sizes and plus size fashion is not always very fashionable. With my daughter's wedding imminent and as a larger woman I was extremely terrified about finding a suitable outfit that I would feel good in and that would be available in my size. What with the wedding photos being displayed for years to come, I had to look my best, not only for my daughter's big day, but also so I could feel good about myself. For any formal occasions, especially a wedding the plus size fashions and sizes available can be so ordinary and the so boring.While this is not always the case it cannot be argued that the scope of choice is small to say the least. This meant that as a larger woman, to have an outfit specifically made for the big day. Although it was expensive, I felt that it was my only option if I was to get the very special outfit that I wanted, and I was happy with the choice I had made. On top of that, the dressmaker I chose specialized in plus size outfits so she had lots of tricks to add to the design she made for me to give the appearance of a slender figure. Happy with my fabulous plus size gown, my dressmaker made it clear that for all her efforts to work, I would need to strongly consider the choices I made when it came to what undergarments I was going to wear. If I didn't have the right bra and best undies, then her hard work and my cash would have all been in vain. Yet another dilemma; where to I find fabulous plus size lingerie? There is very little out there and most often I was told to wear a bra extension. Oh my gosh! I could have just died. My wonderful daughter helped me out. Although stressed and busy with her own fashions and planning of her own day, she helped me look for suppliers of larger sizes in lingerie on the internet. We found quite a number of manufacturers who cater for the plus size woman and found some wonderful styles. Needless to say I found the most amazing intimate apparral for my daughters wedding and then some for everyday. The right underwear holds you in all the right places and takes away any additional love handles. My husband thinks I have lost weight and tells me how beautiful I am everyday. I can only thank those wonderful people who make clothes and designs in larger sizes. I would be helpless without them. Oh, and the photos look fantastic. |
