The correct plus size |
|
Being a larger size or what is referred to in the fashion industry as a plus size has its challenges. Finding stores that carry the larger sizes has become a lot less of a chore however, the selection is extremely limited. The biggest mistake any woman can make, particularly one with a fuller figure is to buy clothing in the wrong size. I think that it is fairly safe to say that women are generally extremely familiar with their body and know exactly what size they are when it comes to clothes. Sizes can change from designer to designer and when you are a plus size or fuller figured woman, with a limit on where you can shop, you become extremely familiar with what size you are in certain labels. Sometimes you need to go up a size, where as with other collections you may have to (and isn't this a great feeling), go down a size or two. The most important concern a woman should make when buying clothes is finding a garment that fits well and disregard what size they are purchasing. All too often women simply won't go up a size if they find an item they love. So they either squeeze them into the size they think they are or just make do without that purchase. The key is to feel comfortable and look great. When you have a plus size figure it is so important to find the right size. Clothes that cling to the body and are too tight will only accentuate your worst features and leave you feeling conscious of your weight. However, going up a size will only make you appear bigger than you are and look frumpy and feel uncomfortable. The best tip when shopping for clothes, plus size or not is not to concern yourself with what size appears on the label. Go with what feels great and you can't go wrong. And if you decide that you prefer shopping for plus size clothing online, then most online stores have fantastic sizing charts that you can work with to identify you size from home.
